Fishing over the Weekend

A nice day of fishing. It was 78 degrees with the sun shinning and the wind was minimal. It felt like a nice spring day even though technically we are still a couple weeks away.

I went to Oyster bay today. I finally found the spot everyone always talks about. It is a really nice spot and I can see why the fish like it. I was able to pick up a 20" and a 24" both of which where really good fights. There we tons of fishing swimming around. Trout where numerous but what really got my goat was the huge amount of sheepshead that constantly attacked my lure and prevented the fish i wanted to catch from biting. I got burnt pretty bad but I suppose it is early enough in the season to start working on my tan.
